children 3 - 5 years old. This is an introduction to swimming. Early
lesson will focus on floating and developing swimming skills including strong

for all fitness levels. A variety of workouts with weights/strength highlighted.

Tae Kwon Do/Self defense: T, Th - 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Korean martial art form
offered by the month, year-round. Tim Conkle is our lead instructor.

Racquetball League: League is for intermediate to advanced skill players.

- 3-5 year olds Cost is$15 / $25, includes T-shirt and cap. T-BALL - 5-8 year olds Coaches and adult volunteers are needed for both programs.
*************************************************************************************************** Fall Outdoor Soccer:
(U8-U15) -
Registration held in May-June on first-come, first-served basis- YMCA members
register first week, all others register second week. Season runs
mid-August through September. The soccer year traditionally runs from August 1 to July 31.
Children "age up" to next age bracket in the fall. Children may not play up more than two years from their true age; this is a state policy.
Teams currently play in the Black Swamp League and travel to area communities
within a 10-50 mile radius. Teams may choose to play in area tournaments at their option. The YMCA does not endorse tournament play. ***************************************************************************************************** I Love Basketball!:
Six-week, fall program teaches age-appropriate skills -
dribbling, passing, shooting, game situations. Usually held Fall II
session. Beginning Racquetball: Grades 4-8. Specified times. Learn the rules of the game, how to
serve, volley, play offense and defense. Basic skills are stressed.
Limit of five kids in a class. Tae Kwon Do: The Korean form of martial art that teaches self defense and
develops motor skills for ages six and up. Held year-round. $30 per
month, Y-members/ $40 potential members. Contact Tim Conkle, instructor,

(NOTE: Summer Camps are held dependant upon number of participants) Summer Day Camps - Pre-registration REQUIRED the week prior to the camp week you want to attend, please! There is a participation fee for each of the camps and for Fun Fridays. * Camp Ne-Kah-Noh (ages 3-5)- Camp Ne-Kah-Noh usually offered for five or six weeks in the summer. Each week of camp is a different theme. Camp held on Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. - 12:00. - camp games, songs, crafts, swimming and special activities each week - kids should bring sneakers, swimsuit, towel. * Camp Lalawethika (grades K-5) -
Six weeks in summer beginning mid-June; Monday through Thursday; 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - traditional camp
activities: games, crafts, songs, chants, along with swimming, board games,
sports and special activities. Kids should bring sneakers,
swimsuit, towel, and sack lunch. Fun Fridays are INCLUDED for FREE to every Camp Lalawethika
camper, lunch is provided by the Y on Fun Friday.
PRE-REGISTRATION and Fee Payment REQUIRED for all camps and Fun Friday.

6-7-8 Grade Teen Dance & Costume Party: This year's dance date -
Sunday, October 31, from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Youth Fitness Orientation: (currently unavailable - no
instructor - contact Beth Hull at the YMCA if interested) This six-week class teaches youth, ages 12-15, the proper use of
all exercise equipment in our weights room, as well as guidelines for creating
an exercise routine. Upon successful completion of the class, youth are
entitled to work out in the weights & equipment room unaccompanied by an adult.
Instructor: Junior High Night at the YMCA (Middle School, too!): Designated Saturday evenings; Dates to be determined. Exclusive use of the gym, pool, racquetball court, for middle school- and junior high school age students ONLY! $1 members / $3 non-members. Healthy Kids Day: Each year, YMCAs across America
and the world celebrate
National Healthy Kid's Day. Activities include information booths, games,
prizes, snacks & more. SILLY SATURDAYS -
This program is usually held from 9:00 - 12:00 noon the
2nd Saturday of the month beginning September; details are seasonal; Miss Beverly is the
coordinator. $ 8 / $12 Pre-registration is required!
